Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks was just a little heavy the first time he stepped on the scale Thursday for his title defense vs. Marcin Held.
After heading to the back, Brooks dropped the weight, making Friday night’s co-main event at Bellator 145 official.
The fighter posted a message on social media in regards to the slip up:
I really hate missing weight… Even though it was only .6 over its still unprofessional. Went back got it done now its time to regroup
