Will Brooks has a new fighting home, and a bout already lined up.
The former Bellator lightweight champion was allowed to sign with a new promotion on Wednesday and he quickly accepted a six-fight deal with the UFC, according to MMAjunkie. Brooks (17-1) will replace James Krause at next months The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale card and meet Ross Pearson.

Brooks was released by Bellator while still holding the lightweight belt. He had scored consecutive wins over Michael Chandler, but had expressed interest in becoming a free agent once his deal expired.
