In this edition of “This Week In MMA,” a battle between The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 and Season 2 winners takes the stage, as Diego Sanchez defeated Joe Stevenson on February 21, 2009.
The card, which took place from The O2 Arena in London, aired on Spike TV.

UFC Fight Night 36: Machida vs. Mousasi
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida provided Gegard Mousasi with a rude welcome to Brazil on February 15, 2014, defeating the ex-Strikeforce titleholder via decision.
The event featured a bevy of decisions – 10 in all – and included a total of 2:53 of in-Octagon action. It set a new record for the longest UFC event in history, surpassing UFC 169.
Other winners were Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Erick Silva, Nico Musoke, Charles Oliveira, Joe Proctor, Rodrigo Damm, Francisco Trinaldo, Iuri Alcantara, Felipe Arantes, Ildemar Alcantara and Zubaira Tukhugov. Only Silva and Oliveira earned stoppage wins.
UFC on FUEL TV 1: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger
The debut of UFC on FUEL TV featured a main event with Nebraska’s own Jake Ellenberger, as “The Juggernaut” scored a decision victory over Diego Sanchez. The two earned “Fight of the Night” for their three-round brawl.
Future UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw was also in action, as The Ultimate Fighter alum defeated Walel Watson via decision. Other winners were Stefan Struve, Ronny Markes, Stipe Miocic, Ivan Menjivar, Jonathan Brookins, Justin Salas and Tim Means.
