Vitor Belfort put the rest the rumors concerning his UFC middleweight title fight with Chris Weidman.
After a report surfaced that the two would meet in Los Angeles this February, Belfort confirmed that on social media.

To translate, the message reads “For those who do not know, fight confirmed for February 28 in Los Angeles. Contract signed!”
The card is expected to be UFC 184, and so far, Weidman-Belfort is the lone bout set for that event.
The two were scheduled to meet this December, but a hand injury forced Weidman to the sidelines. They were also previously set for a meeting earlier this year before both the UFC and Nevada Athletic Commission placed a ban on all TRT use.
Belfort had promised the NAC he would not compete elsewhere, but with the movement of the December contest, a venue in Las Vegas could not be obtained. The California Athletic Commission is expected to oversee drug testing for Belfort.
