The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale Recap: End Of Road For Penn?

tuf 19 finale

It was likely the final time we will see former UFC champion BJ Penn inside the Octagon, as “The Prodigy” was finished by Frankie Edgar in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale Sunday night.

As a conclusion to International Fight Week, the UFC held the card on Sunday after UFC 175 went down Saturday evening.

For the third time, Edgar defeated Penn, but this one was the most dominate. “The Answer” controlled the action, peppering Penn and taking him down at will. In the third, Edgar used hammer-fists to bust open Penn before the referee stepped in and called for the fight.

Two new Ultimate Fighter winners were crowned, as Eddie Gordon defeated Dhiego Lima and Corey Anderson finished Matt Van Buren. Neither fight went much longer than a minute.
