Joseph Duffy has been signed to a contract with the UFC, according to a report by the Irish media outlet The Score. Duffy was the last fighter to defeat Conor McGregor.
Duffy (12-1) entered into the world of MMA in 2008 and earned wins over McGregor and Norman Parke – both via submission. After suffering a loss, he went into boxing, returning to the sport in 2014 and earning a pair of wins in Cage Warriors.
He owns eight submission and three knockout victories among his 12 wins. Duffy was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 12, falling in the elimination rounds.
