The UFC is taking a wait-and-see approach on Jon Jones following his arrest in New Mexico on Tuesday.
Jones turned himself in after receiving five tickets following a stop in Albuquerque last Thursday. He is already on probation after a hit-and-run incident last year that led to the UFC stripping him of the light heavyweight title.
Below is the statement from the UFC:
UFC is aware that Jon Jones turned himself into the Albuquerque Police Department this morning for a potential probation violation stemming from a traffic stop last week.
UFC has been in touch with Jones’ legal team and will have no further comment until the organization has had appropriate time to gather necessary information.
