With two events this past weekend, the latest edition of the official UFC rankings featured plenty of change.
In the light heavyweight division, Ryan Bader, Ovince St. Preux and Jimi Manuwa all moved up a spot, as Dan Henderson fell to No. 8 and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua dropped two to 11th. St. Preux earned a first round knockout victory over Rua and is now ranked ninth.
Vitor Belfort and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza flipped second and third at middleweight, as did Mark Munoz and Tim Boetsch for 13th. Jake Ellenberger and Demian Maia did the same for seventh at welterweight.
Jorge Masvidal moved up two spots to 11th at lightweight, passing Michael Johnson and Edson Barboza. In the featherweight division, Dennis Siver, Nik Lentz, Jeremy Stephens, Clay Guida, Darren Elkins, Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway all moved up a spot, while Tatsuya Kawajiri debuted at No. 15.
And finally, at bantamweight, Mitch Gagnon climbed to 14th over Joe Soto.
