The latest UFC official rankings have been released, and for the second straight week, the biggest changes happened in the heavyweight division.
Fresh off his finish over Roy Nelson, Mark Hunt moved up a spot to No. 6 overall. Hunt earned a second round knockout win over Nelson in Japan.
Myles Jury, who was also on the Japan card that streamed on UFC Fight Pass, slipped past Jim Miller and into ninth overall at lightweight.
Other changes included Jorge Masvidal moving into 12th at lightweight ahead of Rustam Khabilov, Matt Mitrione taking the place of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and No. 15 at heavyweight and Antonio Silva climbing over Nelson for eighth.
Dominick Cruz climbed to No. 10 at bantamweight, Alex Caceres dropped three spots to 13th in the same division, while Erik Perez also moved up, settling into No. 12. One final bantamweight change saw Joe Soto ranked 14th.
In the flyweight division, Kyoji Horiguchi is now No. 13, Jake Ellenberger is seventh at welterweight, Costas Philippous is 11th at middleweight and Tim Boetsch is 13th at the same weight. Just one change took place in the female bantamweight ranks, as Leslie Smith is No. 13 and Raquel Pennington is 14th.
