Nik Lentz has won three straight fights since midway through 2012, including a recent decision over Hacran Dias.
So, what better way for Lentz to test his skills in the UFC’s featherweight division than against Chad Mendes.
The two are set for UFC on FOX 9 this December from Sacramento.
“I told my team, sign it up, whatever I have to do,” said Lentz, during a recent press conference. I’ve been waiting for an opportunity like this. To get on the main card.”
Lentz (24-5-2) feels his move to American Top Team has him ready to knock Mendes off.
“I’m the man at 145 pounds,” he said. “Nobody is going to stop me.”
