Officials announced an expansion for the UFC Fight Pass library this year, adding bouts from numerous promotions.
Changes will take place likely this spring, as Cage Rage, Extreme Challenge MMA, HOOKnSHOOT, KOTC, Pancrase, TKO, UCMMA and XFO have been acquired.
“For Fight Pass, the prognosis is nothing but blue skies,” UFC Chief Content Officer Marshall Zelaznik said. “We had very aggressive expectations about Fight Pass as we modeled it out before we launched it and we’ve exceeded even the most aggressive goals that we set. We know we’ve got a product that people like and we have a great team that’s helping to support that within the company. This has become a passion project for a lot of people, so Fight Pass is in good hands with the group that is operating it, and it’s going to be here for a long, long time.”
Currently, Affliction, EliteXC, PRIDE, Strikeforce, WEC and World Fighting Alliance are all part of the online library, along with Invicta FC. The all-female promotion also airs live events, and that is something the newly-joined promotions that are still in existence could do as well.
Specials and previous UFC events and collections are also available on Fight Pass.
