UFC Fight Night: Shogun Vs. Sonnen Fighter Salaries

Despite not winning, Alistair Overeem and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua walked away from UFC Fight Night 26 with the highest individual salary. The numbers were released by the Massachusetts Athletic Commission.

Overeem, who lost to Travis Browne last month, picked up just under $286,000, while Rua was paid $175,000.

Rua lost to Chael Sonnen in the main event.

As always, these numbers do not include bonus or sponsorship money.

Chael Sonnen: $100,000 (no win bonus)

Mauricio Rua: $175,000

Travis Browne: $48,000 (includes $24,000 win bonus)

Alistair Overeem: $285,714.29

Urijah Faber: $120,000 (includes $60,000 win bonus)

Matt Brown: $66,000 (includes $33,000 win bonus)
