A special Sunday presentation of UFC action takes place this weekend, as UFC Fight Night 59 goes down.
The majority of the card airs on FOX Sports 1, including a four-bout main card featuring Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver.
McGregor has all the pressure squarely on his shoulders, as a win over Siver earns him a shot at UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo.
Here’s a look at three things to watch for this Sunday night:
Can McGregor seal his future?
It’s the Conor McGregor show in Boston at the TD Garden, as the UFC is banking on a large Irish contingent to push their favorite son to victory.
Siver is no slouch, as the 35-year-old has gone up against the likes of Cub Swanson, Donald Cerrone and Ross Pearson during his UFC career. But, McGregor is a different beast.
Already, he’s promised to finish Siver in under two minutes. When he boldly predicted a quick night of Dustin Poirier last year, he fulfilled his prediction.
A win for McGregor over Siver nets him a world title fight in Ireland later this year. You better believe he is focused on igniting Boston and blazing a trail back home.
