UFC and FOX officials announced on Tuesday that the recent UFC Fight Night 58 event from Brazil peaked with 1.2 million viewers.
The show, highlighted by stoppage wins from former champions Lyoto Machida and Renan Barao, was watched by an average of 966,000 viewers. That number marked a 28-percent increase over last December’s Fight Night card that generated 755,000 viewers on average.
Overall, the show was the fourth-most-watched event on FOX Sports 1 ever, peaking with 1.237 million viewers.
The prelims, which also aired on FOX Sports 1, were watched by 626,000 viewers.
