Shawn Jordan vs. Jack May
We head to the heavyweight division for our next contest, as former LSU football player Shawn Jordan (15-6) takes on Jack May (7-1).
Round 1: May quickly backs Jordan up against the fence, but is unable to do any damage. Jordan doing a nice job of moving side-to-side to avoid shots from the taller May, peppering him with his own strikes. May shows his athletic ability, snapping off a head kick attempt and follows with a shot that has opened a cut over the eye of Jordan. They clinch and Jordan gains the advantage, but is reversed and they separate. Jordan back to getting on the bike and trying to avoid punishing shots. Jordan with a right, but May answers with a kick to the body. Jordan shoots and scores with a double-leg takedown.

Round 2: May is doing a lot of damage to the face of Jordan, as it appears each shot leaves another blood trail. May lands with a hook and Jordan is stunned. May goes on the attack, trying to finish this fight, but Jordan drops and scores with a takedown. He immediately goes to the mount and is now in side control. Much better round for Jordan, as he survived the onslaught and finished strong with the takedown.

Round 3: Jordan with another takedown after catching a knee, taking the back and pounding away with shots. Jordan has his hooks in and is working to stretch May out and finish him. He lands a nice elbow to the head and is working for a potential choke attempt. A strong position for Jordan to dominate, as May is defenseless for the most part from his strikes. The ref is telling May to do something or he’ll finish this one and that is what he does after Jordan continues to pepper him.
