Yan Cabral got his first UFC win last week and he didn’t get a chance to enjoy his entire purse. After exiting a bank in Brazil, Cabral was robbed at gunpoint.
“I went to the bank to get the money to pay [Andre Pederneiras],” Cabral to MMA Fighting. “When I was entering the gym the guy pointed a gun to my face and took my money.”
The money taken was going to Cabral’s coach and manager. No details on exactly how much was taken or if there’s promise in catching the thief.
At UFC Fight Night 29, Carbral became 11-0 with a decision from David Mitchell.
