UFC Fight Night 112 Results: Kevin Lee Scores Controversial Victory In Main Event

The end result was what Kevin Lee wanted, but not necessarily how it all came about.

Lee earned a first round submission victory over Michael Chiesa Sunday night in the main event of UFC Fight Night 112.

After locking up a rear-naked choke, Lee appeared well on his way to earning the win. However, without ever going unconscious or tapping, referee Mario Yamasaki declared the bout over for Chiesa. The former Ultimate Fighter winner appealed, but decision was final.

In the co-main event, Tim Boetsch kept Johny Hendricks’ rough weekend going, stopping the former welterweight champion. Hendricks missed weight and then was finished by Boetsch in the second round.

Felice Herrig, Dominick Reyes, Tim Means and Dennis Siver all earned main card wins from Oklahoma City. Siver topped former UFC champion BJ Penn via majority decision.

Lee, Jeremy Kimball, Reyes and Boetsch all earned “Performance of the Night” bonuses. The attendance inside the Chesapeake Energy Arena was 7,605 with a live gate of $549,302.
