UFC Confirms Benson Henderson-Jorge Masvidal For South Korea

Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 79, as Jorge Masvidal replaces Thiago Alves.

The change was confirmed during the FOX Sports 1 prelims for UFC 193 Saturday night.

Set for November 28 from Seoul, South Korea and the Olympic Gymnastics Arena, the entire card airs live on UFC Fight Pass beginning early in the morning.

Henderson (22-5) has won 10 of 13 Octagon fights, while Masvidal (29-9) sports a 6-2 UFC mark. This bout will take place at 170 pounds.

Masvidal was scheduled to meet Dong Hyun Kim in the co-main event. There has been no update on the status of Kim for the card.
