UFC 213, TUF 25 Finale Announcers, Analysts Set

The announce teams and analysts for Friday and Saturday’s UFC events are set.

The Ultimate Fighter 25 takes place Friday night and features Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Johnson, while UFC 213 goes down Saturday.

Below is more information:

FOX Sports presents its stellar cast of veteran broadcasters and current and former world champions to call more than 15 hours of exciting live covering next week’s THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER FINALE: JOHNSON VS. GAETHJE and UFC 213: NUNES VS. SHEVCHENKO 2.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz (@DominickCruz) and retired contender Kenny Florian (@KennyFlorian) serve as analysts on the FOX Sports desk in Las Vegas with veteran combat sports host Karyn Bryant (@KarynBryant) for THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER FINALE: JOHNSON VS. GAETHJE on FS1 on Friday, July 7, while UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping (@Bisping) joins the desk Saturday, July 8 for UFC 213: NUNES VS. SHEVCHENKO 2.

Retired middleweight contender Brian Stann (@BrianStann) joins blow-by-blow announcer Todd Grisham (@GrishamMMA) call THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER FINALE on FS1 live from Las Vegas, while on FOX Deportes, UFC middleweight Kelvin Gastelum (@KelvinGastelum) and Victor Davila (@mastervic10) call the fights in Spanish.

For UFC 213 on Saturday evening, Stann joins Joe Rogan (@JoeRogan) and blow-by-blow announcer Jon Anik (@Jon_Anik) to call the fights, while UFC bantamweight Erik “Goyito” Perez (@Goyito_Perez), Mario Delgado (@mariodelgadorzm) and Victor Davila (@mastervic10) call the Spanish language telecast on FOX Deportes. Reporter Megan Olivi (@MeganOlivi) interviews fighters on-site both nights.

UFC 213’s bantamweight title fight main event is a rematch between champion Nunes and challenger Shevchenko. FOX Sports Florian believes this rematch lives up to the exciting battle that the two had the first time they fought.

“Nunes was dominant early on, then in the third round, it was Shevchenko who was gaining speed and beating up Nunes. It got a lot of people thinking if there was a fourth or fifth round, Shevchenko would have finished her,” said Florian. “Here’s the thing – Nunes is a very different fighter than the first time they fought. She’s confident and she’s very slick with both her grappling and striking, while Shevchenko has also gotten better. I can’t wait for this fight.”
