UFC 203 Change: Newcomer Michael McBride Faces Nik Lentz

Michael McBride will make his Octagon debut next Saturday night at UFC 203 opposite Nik Lentz.

McBride replaces Mairbek Taisumov, who was removed from the fight on Thursday.

Set for September 10 from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, the card features Alistair Overeem challenging Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title.

McBride (8-1) owns eight submission wins to his credit, including a 2014 victory in Bellator MMA. He last fought in November, earning another win via submission.

Lentz (28-7-2) is 5-2 over his last seven fights, including a recent victory over Danny Castillo.
