Welcome to FightLine’s live coverage of UFC 202: Diaz vs. McGregor 2.
Tonight’s card comes to us from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with action airing on UFC Fight Pass, FOX Sports 1 and pay-per-view.
In the main event, Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor square off for a second time at welterweight. Earlier this year at UFC 196, it was Diaz scoring a second round submission win over the reigning UFC featherweight champion.
This feud all came about after then-UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos was forced out of a champion vs. champion match with McGregor. Diaz accepted the fight and the two decided to make it a 170-pound bout.
Now, “Mystic Mac” will try to reclaim his persona when they collide again.
In the co-main event, light heavyweight contenders Anthony Johnson and Glover Teixeira square off in a title-eliminator. Johnson lost to Daniel Cormier last year in a bout to crown a new champion, while Teixeira was unable to defeat Jon Jones when they met for the belt.
The rest of the pay-per-view main card features welterweight action, as Donald Cerrone battles Rick Story, Hyun Gyu Lim welcomes Mike Perry to the UFC and Tim Means returns against Sabah Homasi.
Action starts at 6 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass and features Neil Magny vs. Lorenz Larkin and two other bouts before switching over to FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET with Cody Garbrandt vs. Takeya Mizugaki.
