Welcome to FightLine’s live coverage of UFC 198.

Tonight’s card comes to us from the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil, with fights airing on UFC Fight Pass, FOX Sports 1 and pay-per-view.

In the main event, Stipe Miocic challenges Fabricio Werdum for the UFC heavyweight championship.

Miocic (14-2) has scored back-to-back finishes of Andrei Arlovski and Mark Hunt since a decision loss to Junior dos Santos. The Ohio native is 5-1 over his last six and hopes to bring a world title back to Cleveland.

Werdum (20-5-1) captured the unified title with a submission win over Cain Velasquez last year. He is unbeaten since a loss to Alistair Overeem five years ago in Strikeforce and is 9-1 over his last 10, including wins over Hunt, Travis Browne, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Fedor Emelianenko and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

The co-main event pits Brazilian vs. Brazilian, as middleweight contenders Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Vitor Belfort square off for the first time in their legendary careers.

Souza (22-4) had his eight-fight win streak snapped by Yoel Romero this past December, dropping a split decision. The former Strikeforce titleholder earned wins over Gegard Mousasi, Derek Brunson and Yushin Okami between losses.

Belfort (25-11) got back in the win column in November, knocking out Dan Henderson for a second time. He lost to then-champion Chris Weidman last May, but is 4-1 over his last five.

The main card will also feature the Octagon debut of Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino, as she faces Leslie Smith in a catchweight bout.

Rounding out the pay-per-view card is former UFC champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Corey Anderson and Bryan Barberena vs. Warlley Alves.

A planned fight between Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall was scrapped earlier this week after “The Spider” was sent to the hospital. He had to have his gallbladder removed, but is expected to return to training in just over a month.

Headlining the FS1 prelims is a welterweight showdown between former UFC title contender Demian Maia and Matt Brown. Thiago Santos faces ex-Strikeforce champ Nate Marquardt, Francisco Trinaldo takes on Yancy Medeiros and John Lineker fights Rob Font.

Three bouts begin the night on UFC Fight Pass with Patrick Cummins facing Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Sergio Moraes meeting Luan Chagas and Renato Moicano fighting Zubaira Tukhugov.

FightLine’s live coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and continue through the entire card. We will also bring you fight recaps, comments, videos and more.
