Everything is now official, as the fighter weigh-ins for Saturday’s UFC 183 card went down earlier today from Las Vegas.
In the main event, former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva returns from a year-long recovery for a broken leg to face ex-Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz. Silva weighed in at 186 pounds, while Diaz tipped the scale at 185.
Welterweights Kelvin Gastelum and Tyron Woodley are set for the co-main, while Joe Lauzon meets Al Iaquinta in a lightweight scrap on pay-per-view. The FOX Sports 1 prelims feature female bantamweights Miesha Tate and Sara McMann, along with a No. 1 contender match in the flyweight division between John Lineker and Ian McCall.
Gastelum and Lineker each missed weight, and did so badly. Gastelum came in at 180 pounds after battling flu-like symptoms, while Lineker was 130. Both fights will go on, with each fighter forfeiting 30-percent of their purse.
