Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz earned over a $1 million in disclosed paychecks from UFC 183, the Nevada Athletic Commission confirmed Monday.
Silva, who earned a decision win in the main event, picked up $800,000, while Diaz earned $500,000. Both were returning from extended layoffs.
The event generated a live gate of $4.5 million with 13,114 attending inside the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas. All total, the payroll was at over $2 million.
