UFC 180: Three Things To Look For

ufc 180

The UFC will make its debut tonight from Mexico with an interim heavyweight title fight between Fabricio Werdum and Mark Hunt at UFC 180.

While we don’t get Cain Velasquez-Werdum, the main event could still deliver something special.

Here’s a look at three things you need to keep an eye on tonight while watching the card. FightLine will also have complete coverage this evening of all the action, including play-by-play and post-fight news and information.

Can Mark Hunt find that one opening?

It’s the age-old question? Can an excellent brawler defeat a skilled ground fighter?

We’ve seen plenty of these battles through the years, especially in the heavyweight division. Most recently, Werdum showed he had more than just ground skills in defeating Travis Browne.

Hunt, meanwhile, shocked everyone when he floored Roy Nelson and stopped “Big Country” inside the Octagon.

If Werdum isn’t completely focused and careful each minute he’s in there with Hunt, we could have an upset on our hands.
