UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson successfully defended his title once again Saturday night in the main event of UFC 174, scoring a decision over Ali Bagautinov.
Johnson improved to 20-2-1 in his career, earning his sixth straight win. He hasn’t lost since a 2011 defeat to Dominick Cruz for the bantamweight title.
In the co-main event, Rory MacDonald positioned himself as one of the top contenders to the welterweight title by defeating Tyron Woodley.
In other main card bouts, Ryan Bader defeated Rafael Cavalcante, Andrei Arlovski made his return with a split decision over Brendan Schaub and Ovince St. Preux stopped Ryan Jimmo.
The prelims featured a first round submission win for Kiichi Kunimoto over Daniel Sarafian in the final fight and opened with a first round TKO for Jason Saggo over Josh Shockley.
In between, Michinori Tanaka, Tae Hyun Bang, Yves Jabouin and Valerie Letourneau all had their hands raised.
