UFC officials have gone to work on the Memorial Day weekend card in Las Vegas, as Sam Sicilia vs. Doo Ho Choi and Chris Holdsworth vs. Kyung Ho Kang have been added.
UFC 173 takes place May 24 from MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main event that night will see Chris Weidman defend his middleweight title against Vitor Belfort.
Sicilia (12-4) is just 2-3 since his run on The Ultimate Fighter, including a January submission loss to Cole Miller. Both of his wins have come via finish.
Choi (11-1) is just 22 years old and will be making his Octagon debut. He has won each of his last five fights via finish, including three straight knockouts at one point – two of which came in the first round.
Holdsworth (5-0) won his first UFC fight over Davey Grant this past November, becoming the latest winner of The Ultimate Fighter.
Kang (12-7) got himself a much-needed victory with the promotion by submitting Shunichi Shimizu in Singapore this past January.
