Alexis Davis vs. Jessica Eye

In a bout that may determine the next challenger to the UFC female bantamweight title, Alexis Davis takes on Jessica Eye to conclude our prelims.

Davis (15-5) has won four straight since a decision loss to Sarah Kaufman. That includes two wins inside the Octagon, the latest of which came vs. one-time title-contender Liz Carmouche.

Eye (10-1) hasn’t lost since 2011, though her most recent win was overturned to a no-contest after a failed post-fight drug test. Eye made news over the matter because it wasn’t changed until months after the fight.

Eye just keeps clinching and getting the better of her, but Davis powers through this time. Nice pair of knees to the body from Davis. Davis concludes the round with a takedown, but is unable to do any damage.
