Former Ultimate Fighter runner-up Al Iaquinta will get the chance to compete close to home, as he faces Kevin Lee at UFC 169.
The event is set for February 1 from New Jersey’s Prudential Center. It features to championship matches, including a main event between UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and interim champ Renan Barao.
Iaquinta (7-2-1) is a native of New York and has won each of his last two UFC fights. He recently talked with FightLine about venturing out to California to train with Team Alpha Male.
Lee (6-0) carries a three-fight submission win streak with him, all of which came in 2013.
