The fans booed and Dana White agreed, putting the Myles Jury-Mike Ricci fight from UFC 165 on notice. Jury took the split-decision win and if the fans want to boo, so be it.
“I had to keep adjusting since he scrambled,” said Jury to MMA Fighting. “I’m always happy with my performance. I perform the best I can. It’d be nice to go out there and finish everybody, but you try to get in here and do it.”
While inside the Octagon, Jury didn’t hear the fans and was focused on Ricci. The only comments he heard came from his corner.
Jury remains undefeated with win number 13. He’s stopped two of his four UFC fights.
Ricci is now 1-1 since returning to lightweight. Since losing in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 16, he got a decision over Colin Fletcher.
They closed the prelims of UFC 165 on September 21. It came from the Air Canada Centre and results can be found here.
