TUF 19 Finale: Derrick Lewis Vs. Guto Inocente

tuf 19 finale

Derrick Lewis vs. Guto Inocente

We’ll head to the heavyweight division for the first – and last – time tonight, as Derrick Lewis takes on Guto Inocente.

Lewis (10-2) is unbeaten in his last seven fights, winning six and having one declared a no-contest. Inocente (6-2) hasn’t competed since 2012, but is unbeaten in his last four.

Round 1: Along with two years away, Inocente’s actually had just one pro fight since 2010. He’s moving nicely to start, trying to find an angle to strike. Lewis gets in deep on a single-leg, tosses Inocente to the ground, but he is able to get free and up right away. Lewis blocks a kick and unloads with a right, almost falling over into Inocente and getting the takedown. He almost puts his hand through the canvas, missing as he drops down with a right. Lewis with a right and Inocente is out cold. The ref was right on top of it and stopped it, as Inocente has no idea what happened.
