Corey Anderson vs. Matt Van Buren in The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale light heavyweight tournament
We’ve reached the co-main event and the second TUF 19 final, as Corey Anderson meets Matt Van Buren.
Anderson (2-0) defeated Josh Clark and Patrick Walsh to advance, while Van Buren (6-2) topped Chris Fields and Daniel Spohn.
Round 1: Anderson gets off first, rocking Van Buren with a shot. Anderson was the No. 1 pick by Frankie Edgar, and he shows why with a flurry that might have Van Buren out on his feet. Anderson rocks him, but Van Buren takes a deep breath and is standing. Anderson teeing off with lefts and rights, scoops him down to the canvas and contines to pound away. He’s on his back and the ref has seen enough. This one is all over quickly, as Van Buren wasn’t defending himself.
