The Lauzons have been fighting since their teens. In fact, video actually exists of the two in a sketchy-looking MMA fight against one another at a family gathering. Joe has been the more successful of the two career-wise thus far, plying his trade in the Octagon since 2006. He’s also tied with Anderson Silva with the most performance-based bonuses in the organization, showing he may not always win his fights but he’ll almost always leave fans happy. Dan went 0-2 in his short UFC stint but he’s 5-0 since in smaller shows and could end up getting another shot at some point in 2014 if he keeps headed in the right direction.
It’s not uncommon for brothers to end up throwing down at some point. However, when the fights aren’t a matter of sibling rivalry playing out in a backyard but rather in the cage it’s a different story altogether. Impressively, the sport of Mixed Martial Arts is populated by a number of duos who grew up alongside one another including a handful of brothers with both finding enough success to at least earn one bout under the UFC banner.
