Thiago Silva has released a short video message following his resigning with the UFC.
Silva, who was cut from the promotion after an alleged domestic violence charge this past February, saw all of the charges brought against him dropped after his estranged wife likely “left the country,” according to reports.
“The good news is I’m back,” Silva said. “I just want to thank my friends for all their support. The truth just came (out). Everyone knows the truth, everything.”
Silva has fought 10 times for the UFC, going 7-3. He is targeting a return to the Octagon in early 2015.
The UFC decided after seeing the charges dropped that they would bring Silva back to the welterweight division, despite prior statements that he would never fight for them again.
