Sergio Pettis, the younger brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, has signed on the dotted line to be a member of the UFC’s bantamweight roster. He debuts at UFC 167 with no confirmed opponent.
In 2011, Sergio turned pro and has created a 9-0 record. Six of those were stopped and in June he captured the inaugural RFA flyweight title.
The 20-year-old just submitted James Porter at NAFC on September 28. He won their bantamweight title as a result.
UFC 167 is November 16 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. It serves as the promotion’s 20th anniversary show.
