Ryan Bader Takes Exception To Daniel Cormier’s Comments

Ryan Bader

In a recent interview, Daniel Cormier accused Ryan Bader of “cutting in line” in regard to the UFC light heavyweight title.

Bader, a former Ultimate Fighter winner, and Cormier were expected to meet later this year. However, officials removed Cormier from that bout and inserted him in the one this weekend vs. Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 to crown a new champion.

“Darth” posted a reply to “DC’s” remarks on Twitter, asking who the former title contender has beat himself?

Since a 2013 loss to Glover Teixeira, Bader (19-4) has won four in a row, including wins over Phil Davis, Ovince St. Preux and Rafael Cavalcante. His only losses have come to former champions or title contenders in Teixeira, Lyoto Machida, Tito Ortiz and Jon Jones.

Cormier wasted little time in replying to Bader’s remarks despite being just a few days away from his title-fight. And he even seems willing to defend the title against his former opponent if he is victorious this weekend.
