Roy Nelson felt he simply got outpointed by Daniel Cormier at UFC 166. With two more rounds, “Big Country” thought his odds of winning would have increased.
“It’s nothing against Daniel,” said Nelson on Fight Hub TV. “Daniel had an excellent game plan, played it to a tee. I just wish I had two more rounds. That’s about it. Daniel won that night, and he was the better guy. I’d definitely like to do a rematch. I’d fight anybody that I ever lost to.”
It was Cormier’s second decision win under the UFC banner. He plans to return inside the Octagon as a light heavyweight.
UFC 166 was October 19 and served as Nelson’s second straight loss. There is no return information for either fighter.
