Ronda Rousey Will Pay Tribute To Fallen Wrestling Icon “Rowdy” Roddy Piper

UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has promised to pay tribute to “Rowdy” Roddy Piper Saturday night at UFC 190.

Rousey, who asked Piper to use the “Rowdy” nickname thanks to their connection of “Judo” Gene LaBell prior to her MMA debut, faces Bethe Correia in the main event.

Piper, a former WWE standout wrestler and icon in the sport of pro wrestling, passed away Friday at the age of 61. He died of cardiac arrest while asleep according to reports.
