If Roger Gracie decides to still pursue MMA, rather than return to jiu-jitsu, he will do so at light heavyweight. Gracie was sent packing by the UFC after his only loss.
“I think I won’t move down to middleweight again,” said Gracie to MMA Fighting. “It’s a hard cut for me and it’s hurting my performance. My weight is 205 pounds.”
When Strikeforce was done, Gracie was signed by the UFC after taking a pair of middleweight wins. Gracie last fought in a decision defeat to Tim Kennedy. He’s 2-1 as middleweight and spent a few years as light heavyweight.
Gracie is 6-2 and remains a free agent.
