Robert Drysdale was riding lots of hype and had the record to back it up. Unfortunately, his UFC debut has been postponed as he had elevated testosterone levels but he will get his chance inside the Octagon.
“Robert needs to establish that he is medically fit to participate and apply for the appropriate licensure,” wrote a UFC representative in a prepared statement. “Assuming he is able to do this, he will fight for the organization at some point in the future.”
The high testosterone level now has Cody Donovan vs. Gian Villante at UFC 167.
Drysdale is undefeated with all six wins not escaping the opening round. The black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu took each win via submission for AFC and Legacy FC.
No word on when Drysdale will make his UFC debut.
