UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will defend his title against Carlos Condit at UFC 195, the promotion announced recently.
Set for January 2 from Las Vegas and the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the Lawler-Condit bout is expected to serve as the main event.
Originally scheduled for November, a hand injury suffered by Lawler forced a change in plans. The UFC bumped Ronda Rousey-Holly Holm to the Australian pay-per-view and moved Lawler-Condit back to kickoff 2016.
So far, the title fight is the lone contest announced for the event.
