Cat Zingano is still viewed by many as the No. 1 contender to Ronda Rousey’s UFC female bantamweight title.
Zingano, though, has been on the sidelines recovering from a knee injury suffered late last year that knocked her out of a title fight and a spot on The Ultimate Fighter as a coach.
This Saturday night, “Alpha” finally returns, opening the pay-per-view main card of UFC 178 against Amanda Nunes. As she works to get set for Friday’s weigh-ins, Zingano posted a “selfie” showing how close she is to making weight.
“I weight 145 lbs waking up, my resting heart rate is 44 beats per minute, right on schedule,” she wrote.

FightLine will have complete coverage of Zingano-Nunes and the rest of the card, including live play-by-play.
