Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) will introduce their first welterweight championship with Mike Rhodes and Alan Jouban headlining their October show for the belt. Both are coming off wins out of the promotion.
“They are the types of fighters that embody what the RFA is all about,” said RFA President Ed Soares. “They are always looking for the finish and have the fans on their feet the entire time.”
Rhodes 1-1 for RFA and took a 56 second knockout in June. All of his wins have been stoppages.
Jouban has won six in a row, last stopping Chris Spang in August. At 7-1, only once did he require the judges.
RFA 10 is October 25 from the Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines, IA.
