Former Bellator featherweight champion Pat Curran will take on Goiti Yamauchi at Bellator 139, the promotion confirmed recently.
Set for June 26 from the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas, the main card airs live on Spike TV.
Curran (20-7) has lost three of his last four, including a decision defeat to Daniel Straus that cost him the Bellator title. Overall, he is 10-4 with the promotion, including a defeat to current champion Patricio Freire and a recent loss to Daniel Weichel via split-decision.
Yamauchi (18-2) has won four of five with Bellator and would likely vault himself into a contender role with a victory over a former champion like Curran. The 22-year-old has topped the likes of Mike Richman and Martin Stapleton during his career.
