According to a report by Combat Press, Kevin Ferguson – better known as Kimbo Slice – will make his return to mixed martial arts this year with Bellator MMA.
Slice, who previously fought for EliteXC and the UFC, last competed in an MMA match in 2010. He was defeated by Matt Mitrione after competing on Season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter.
An official announcement regarding the signing of Slice is expected during tonight’s live Bellator 132 card on Spike TV.
Following his loss to Mitrione, Slice competed seven times as a pro boxer, winning all seven.
He built a reputation through “backyard” brawls in Florida, knocking out people left and right, before competing for EliteXC.
