According to Camille Jones, the mother of UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, the fighter spent just one night in a drug rehab facility following his admission of cocaine use.
Camille Jones told a local CBS affiliate that he will be “continuing to get more educated on the subject.” She also said “Bones” will be in Massachusetts this Sunday night for the AFC championship game featuring his brothers, Arthur and Chandler Jones.
“I’m glad that this happened to Jon, this stopped him in his tracks, this let him know that he may need to change some friends because everyone is not for you for the best,” she said. “This is a good thing as far as our family is concerned so we wasn’t upset.”
Camille Jones talked with Jon regarding the failed drug test and she said he was “very honest with me.”
Arthur Jones is a defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts, while Chandler Jones plays for the New England Patriots.
