Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez was forced out of a title rematch with Fabricio Werdum after suffering an injury.
Now, to get another crack at the belt, he might have to go through Travis Browne.
FOXSports.com is reporting that verbal agreements are signed for Velasquez vs. Browne at UFC 200 this July 9 from the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Velasquez (13-2) suffered a submission loss to Werdum last year, snapping his four-fight win streak. The former college wrestler has battled injuries throughout his career.
Browne (18-3-1) got back on track when he finished Matt Mitrione earlier this year.
