Renan Barao, fresh off a finish of Eddie Wineland to successfully defend his interim UFC bantamweight title, moved up to No. 6 on the pound-for-pound UFC rankings.
Barao is behind only champions Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre, Jose Aldo, Cain Velasquez and ex-champ Anderson Silva.
There was plenty of movement following UFC 165, including in the lightweight division where Khabib Nurmagomedov moved in at No. 7. Also, Francis Carmont debuted at middleweight following his win over Costa Philippou.
