Rafael Natal has a tremendous opportunity in November when he faces Tim Kennedy at UFC Fight For The Troops 3.
Natal, replacing Lyoto Machida, will be competing in the main event vs. Kennedy on a military base. As a former Army Ranger, Kennedy will enter as the heavy favorite, but “Sapo” plans to make him pay.
“Thank you (UFC, Dana White) and all the fans for this big opportunity,” he posted on Twitter, “trust me guys, Tim Kennedy (is) in trouble.”
Natal (17-4-1) has won three straight, including back-to-back decision victories. He has a chance to join a small group of fighters with four wins in a calendar year if he can defeat Kennedy.
