Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is in the dark about what Bellator is going to do since Tito Ortiz was pulled from their fight due to a neck injury. The fight was a week away and Jackson already put in a full training camp. A frustrated Jackson is willing to take on anyone the promotion offers.
“If I’m going to keep it real, I would have said, ‘Look, throw another opponent at me and still keep the pay-per-view because I trained really hard for this,’” said Jackson to Inside MMA. “I had my knees fixed. I just wanted to show the world and the fans that still support me that I’m back.”
Some of the names Jackson tossed around were Kimbo Slice, Houston Alexander, Tyrone Spong, Chuck Liddell or any other Bellator fighter. Of all the names mentioned, only Alexander is under contract to Bellator.
Jackson was making his return since he left the UFC earlier in the year. He dropped three in a row to conclude his UFC run and hasn’t won since September 2011.
